LAND
- The farm works on ca. 3 000 ha of which 1 500 arable lands and ca. 1 500 ha grasslands (part of the grassland can be used also for cropfarming)
- Total ownership ca. 250 ha, the rest rented from mostly private landowners and Slovak state, Municipalities etc. The land is partly flat partly slopy.
- The quality of the arable land is moderate. The seeding plan of the Farm includes among others corn silage, alfalfa, wheat, barley, oilseed rape.
FARMYARD and BUILDINGS
- The Farm uses more yards all within close distance. One main yard for dairy cows, milking facilities and storage, 2 yards for heifers and young cattle, one yard for machinery, workshop and storage (in total ca. 7000 ton)
- Part of the yards have been modernized including the (re)construction of (new) stables.
- Possibilities for growth, including the construction of new stables is possible.
LIFESTOCK
- The farm has around 850 Hollstein dairy cows and around 800 young cattle. Milkproduction per dairy cow ca. 11.000 kg/year. The milk is sold to local strong milk factories.
TECHNOLGY
- The Farm is fully equipped with partly modern machines.
