Huub Lenders is our emigration advisor in Portugal.
After internships in Germany and the United States, Huub took over his family’s mixed farm and expanded it to 100 cows within ten years. His international ambitions then began to grow, and he and his wife Wil decided to move to Portugal, where they have now been living , where they have now been living for more than 30 years. They produce wine and run a guesthouse and restaurant.
Due to their children’s education, they spent 12 years (part-time) back in the Netherlands. During that time, Huub completed an MBA in Food and Agribusiness at Larenstein/RAC UK and a Master’s degree in Economics at Wageningen University, and he taught in higher agricultural education. Through this, he further strengthened his connection with Dutch agriculture.
He now makes his knowledge and experience available as an emigration advisor.
