After completing internships in Germany and the United States, Huub took over his parents' mixed farming operation and expanded it to 100 dairy cows within ten years. The desire for an international adventure then began to grow, and Huub and his wife Wil decided to move to Portugal, where they have now been living for more than 30 years. There, they produce wine and operate a guesthouse and restaurant.
For the education of their children, they spent 12 years living part-time in the Netherlands. During this period, Huub completed an MBA in Food and Agribusiness at Larenstein/RAC UK and a Master's degree in Economics at Wageningen University. He also taught in higher agricultural education, further strengthening his connection with Dutch agriculture.
Today, Huub makes his knowledge and experience available as an emigration advisor.
