Frie’s roots are in Normandy, where his mother and aunt were born. In Standdaarbuiten (North Brabant, the Netherlands), his parents owned a poultry farm with 22,000 laying hens. Due to the farm’s location close to the village, the family decided to move (back) to France in the 1970s. There, they purchased a farm in the peaceful countryside of southern France, consisting of 130 hectares of land and a 60-hectare vineyard.
Over the years, the business continued to expand and relocate. Since 2009, Frie has been involved in the purchase and sale of farms in France, and in 2014 he started his own business. Since early 2016, he has worked closely with Interfarms through his own real estate agency.
