Danitsja has been living in Denmark since 2017. In 2018, she and her husband purchased a dairy farm in Varde, where they milk 450 Jersey cows and farm 240 hectares of land.
Danitsja has extensive knowledge and experience in the agricultural and rural real estate sector. During her Animal and Livestock Farming studies at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences in Deventer, she completed a six-month internship in Denmark with Sydvestjysk Landboforening (now Sagro). After graduating, she worked for Countus Accountants & Advisors in Zwolle while simultaneously completing additional training as an Agricultural Business Consultant, specialising in tax law, agricultural law, and business economics.
At that time, Danitsja and her partner owned a dairy farm with 70 cows in Wijhe, the Netherlands. Their interest in opportunities abroad led them to sell their Dutch dairy farm and emigrate to Germany. In 2009, they moved to Jemgum, a village in the federal state of Lower Saxony. There they operated a dairy farm with 200 cows and 110 hectares of land. Alongside working on the farm, Danitsja also worked part-time as an emigration consultant for Dutch farmers interested in relocating to Germany.
Danitsja says: “I really enjoy the entire process, from searching for a suitable farm and developing business plans to purchasing the farm and implementing those plans. I am passionate about helping people throughout this journey. As we are farmers ourselves, we understand the realities of farming abroad and can support clients with practical advice based on our own experience.”
For all back-office matters, Danitsja works closely with Martine de Hoon. Martine is employed by Sagro as a business economics consultant. She also has a dairy farming background, is familiar with the Danish agricultural market, and, like Danitsja, speaks Dutch and, of course, Danish.
