Description
This well-developed dairy farm is a pioneer in robot milking and was the first farm in Västra Götaland to work with milking robots. The company is now a rational and solidly equipped dairy farm with 114 cubicles for dairy cows and two Lely A5 milking robots.
The bull calves are kept and fattened on the farm. The farm buildings are spacious, functionally designed, and in good condition. In addition to dairy farming, there was previously a successful racehorse breeding operation, which led to the construction of a spacious riding hall made of laminated wood (glulam). This riding hall is currently used as a machinery and storage hall.
The arable and fodder farming is carried out conventionally and is fully focused on the feed needs of the livestock. The soil mainly consists of medium-heavy clay and is suitable for a varied crop plan with grassland, pasture, grain, and maize. The total cultivated area is approximately 192 hectares, including leased land. The property offered for sale includes 79 hectares according to the land registry.
On the farmyard stands an inviting farmhouse of approximately 150 m² living space, spread over one and a half floors. The house has been renovated in several phases, with a new kitchen installed in 2020. Heating is provided by geothermal energy with a water-based heating system, supplemented by a wood stove.
