Nymölla Jordbruk AB is a farm in the municipality of Östra Göinge, located in the green heart of Skåne, focusing on milk production and crop cultivation on approximately 194 hectares. The company has 6 employees and an annual turnover of about SEK 12 million. The farm was originally managed organically and was KRAV-certified from 2009 to 2022. Currently, the farm is run conventionally, and the milk is delivered to the Skåne dairy factory.

Livestock and Land:
The livestock consists of an average of 160 dairy cows, 80 young cattle, and 90 calves. The total area of the estate is 72 hectares, consisting of 52 hectares of arable land, 8 hectares of pasture, and 9 hectares of forest. The company rents and uses 162 hectares, of which 110 hectares of arable land are leased and 32 hectares of arable land and 20 hectares of pasture are under a management agreement.

Buildings and Facilities:
The farm has two residential buildings, including a recently renovated manor house of 200 m². The company has a well-organized farm center with a modern dairy barn (2010), older barns for young cattle, a manure facility, and silage storage, allowing the company to operate efficiently.

Milk Yield and Production:
The farm has had a good milk yield over the past three years:

  • 2021: 155 cows, 4.3% fat, 3.5% protein, 9,800 ECM kg
  • 2022: 168 cows, 4.2% fat, 3.7% protein, 10,600 ECM kg
  • 2023: 165 cows, 4.2% fat, 3.8% protein, 11,600 ECM kg
