Located on hay-producing land southeast of Barrhead, Alberta, near a paved road and far from other poultry farms.
Breeding
Consists of 32,182 breeder chicken quota in three large barns.
Barns
- Hen Barn (built in 2022): 70x300, prefab concrete, underfloor heating, 4 hot air furnaces, roxel feeders, Lubing waterers, and a separate spiker room and men's room. Fully automated with new control systems, cameras, and its own natural gas generator. Feed storage of 28 tons.
- Layer Barns (built in 2014): Both 44x500, with heated work area, picker conveyors, automatic manure scrapers, and 2-foot deep manure pits. Equipped with Cumberland nest boxes and Lubing waterers, and Solegra solar wall panels for heating support and cost savings.
Mechanical Room and Equipment
Modern mechanical room with boilers for heating and chilled water, egg collector and sorter (Prinzen, 2 years old), and advanced control systems.
