Pig farming.

The Land - The total area is approximately 164 ha, which is divided into approximately 131 ha of arable land and approximately 18 ha of pasture/permanent grass. - The fields are leased until 31/12/2025 and are settled against the delivery of 30 tdr. grain/ha delivered by the landlord. The tenant buys manure and supplies straw on shards equivalent to 80 mini big bales. The agreement can be terminated with a notice period of 6 months until the end of the lease year. Farm Buildings - Skovende consists of pig production with 975 sows, with the main building from 2004 measuring 2,880 m². There are good welfare facilities for changing rooms and living rooms, farrowing pens with a total of 214 farrowing crates, gestation pens with transponders, mating pens, control pens + sick bay with deep litter. Additionally, there are 2 climate pavilions with a capacity for 800 weaned pigs and a milling/mixing installation fed from a 1,100-ton American silo. There are good opportunities for expansion on the site. - Since 2019, 2 million DKK has been invested in the farm buildings on Skovendevej. In 2019, the climate barns received cast iron grates as well as 2 feeding boxes in all pens, extra drinking cups, and floating fillers in all enclosures. In 2020, additional water boreholes were established. In 2023, new paving in all farrowing pens and in 2024, the manure tank was covered, and the bottom of the American silo was renovated. Additionally, a ground/water heat pump and manure cooling in the farrowing pen will be installed. - V. Ringsholt consists of climate and gilt pens and is located west of Stenhøj. The climate barn was built in 2002 and renovated in 2021, with a built-up area of 1,300 m² consisting of 9 sections with 4,000 pen places equipped with space heating, underfloor heating, and phase feeding. In older, but absolutely usable pens, gilts are produced for the sow herd at Skovende. Additionally, there is a machine house, a barn for suckler cows with deep litter, a feeding barn, and a manure tank of 3,000 and 400 m³. Housing - Skovende has a beautiful house of 224 m² that was completely renovated in 1992 and presents itself beautifully with a high plinth, white plastered, and red tiled roof. - The house of V. Ringsholt is rented and has an older character. Herd - The herd is free from PRRS, but has MS, Ap6, and Ap12. There is good efficiency with 37.4 pigs per sow per year and a daily growth in the climate barn of 406 g/day and a mortality rate of 3.8%.
