Approximately 31-hectare sheep farm near Drayton Valley.
- For smaller livestock, a flock of sheep is a great choice for beginners, hobby farmers, and additional income sources for existing farms! You can keep them for meat, milk, and wool. Additionally, they do an excellent job with vegetation management.
- Fencing is important, and the land is fully fenced with woven wire field fencing, as it provides a strong and secure solution.
- The farm currently has +/- 500 ewes, and the farmer sells the lambs live at about 75 lbs. to Spruce Grove, and they are likely shipped to Ontario. This is a great business to get into!
- Large barn 94' x 100' and an additional huge heated 50' x 34' barn. Both are approximately 3 years old and under construction. A canopy and a chicken coop are attached to the large barn. The feeders attached to the barn are included, along with the flat round-bottomed bin.
- The house is seamlessly made from two units (2003) that have been combined into one cozy home, with a total of three bedrooms. The house is heated with propane gas.
- Water comes from a new drilled well with plenty of water. No softeners needed. The well supplies water for the house and barns.
- All current equipment in the house and barn is included "as is".
