Milk Production Højset

The properties, a total of 5 units, form a large milk production farm south of Agerskov. Production includes approximately 1200 cows and about 975 heifers.

All animals are gathered at the addresses Højsetvej 6, 3, and 5.

Area

The total cadastral area is approximately 244 ha, of which about 220.84 ha is arable land and 8.29 ha is permanent grass. Quality varies. Soil type mainly coarse sandy soil, sandy loam, and humus soil. Part of the area can be irrigated.

Locations

Højsetvej 6: Farm built in 1938, renovated/expanded in 2008. Ground area 221 m² + used attic 60 m². Total living area according to BBR 281 m².

  • Stable building year 1938, renovated/expanded in 1966. Ground area according to BBR 397 m².
  • Machine house built in 1974, later expanded. Set up as a workshop. Ground area according to BBR 250 m².
  • Garage/carport. Ground area according to BBR 60 m².
  • Stable building built in 1987. Calf stable with 42 single animal boxes. Cast floor. Ground area according to BBR 331 m².
  • Stable building built in 2006. Built as a stable, now used for cows, heifers, and as a calving stable. Feed table on both sides, deep litter box without fixed floor with space for about 36 cows (the rest with catch grates), mattresses in the bed boxes. 90 cows and 137 heifers in bed boxes. Calf meat kitchen. Office/lunchroom and toilet. Ground area according to BBR 2,672 m².
  • Stable building built in 2010. Feed table at both ends and large space for about 69 cows. Access to fenced field/outdoor area. Ground area according to BBR 625 m².
  • Extension of the aforementioned building. Deep litter boxes with space for about 100 young cattle and 16 cows. Ground area according to BBR 600 m².
  • Small calf huts: 5 huts each with space for 9 calves.

Højsetvej 3: Farm built in 1938, expanded/renovated in 1970. Ground area 100 m² + used attic 60 m². Total living area according to BBR 160 m².

  • Stable building year 1938, renovated/expanded in 1974. Barn for raw materials and storage of hay and straw. Ground area according to BBR 770 m².
  • Milk center built in 2009. Dairymaster milking carousel with concentrate feed distribution, milk meter, and plastic floor in the application area. Collection area for 275 cows. Separation box with space for about 100 cows. Stable office, staff facilities, and depot. Milk room and 2 outside DeLaval silo milk tanks of respectively 32,000 and 40,000 L.   • Stable building built in 1940. Ground area according to BBR 80 m².
  • Stable building built in 1978, expanded/rebuilt in 1987. Calf stable with communal feed table, about 150 places for young calves. Ground area according to BBR 527 m².
  • Stable building built in 1995, renovated/expanded in 1998. About 225 cubicles for cows and heifers, with mattresses and slatted floors (recently grooved). Manure channels with electric mixer. Ground area according to BBR 1,573 m².
  • Manure tank 1150 kbm. The slurry tank received new joints in 2021 in connection with tank control.

Højsetvej 5: Ground area 98 m² + used attic 50 m² and basement 6 m². Total living area according to BBR 154 m².

  • Older farm built in 1933. Ground area according to BBR 280 m².
  • Machine house year 1933. Ground area according to BBR 65 m².
  • 6-row barn with feed tables on both sides. The first half was built in 2003 and the second half was built in 2009. Solid floor, grooved, with newer scraping systems. About 812 cubicles with water mattresses from 2021. Ground area according to BBR 8280 m².
  • Calf huts built in 2014 and 2015. A total of 46 communal calf huts, with space for about 5 calves in each. All huts have water circulation for frost protection. Ground area according to BBR 1,080 m².
  • Silo facility west of the farm buildings. About 1.3 ha for storage of roughage with associated bridge weight. Rainwater collection pit with 2 separate irrigation systems with new pump.
  • 2 manure containers each of 6,000 kbm. Manure tank of 2,850 kbm without a lid, renewed with new cables in connection with tank control 2021.

The company can be sold in full operation; with roughage, livestock, and business equipment.
